Rosell Meseguer

Thanks to residencies at the MoMA in New York and the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, I have investigated historical processes and their socio-political and economic consequences, developing projects that incorporate photographs, installations, archives, publications, drawings, paintings and videos.

The Batería de Cenizas project, begun in 1999, marked my creative process and was featured in Discoveries PHotoEspaña 2004 and the show Mediterranean: Between Reality and Utopia at The Photographers’ Gallery, London. My fascination with the Cold War inspired another project titled OVNI Archive, which was shown at Matadero Madrid and Museo Carrillo Gil in Mexico. I have worked in Europe and Latin America since 2005 and currently live in Madrid.
