José Guerrero

José Guerrero’s oeuvre focuses on the representation of the landscape and how we perceive it through images. He works in series, produced in geographical settings with great iconographic significance. On a formal level, he is interested in the syntax of the photographic medium in the construction of polyptychs and portfolios, and in treading the thin line between documentary and abstract photography. Atmospheres created by using light and colour in a very specific way are a defining element of his work.
