Elena Bajo

Elena Bajo’s interdisciplinary artistic practice explores the intersection of anarchist philosophy, social ecology and metaphysics. Her concept- and research-generating praxis focuses on the ecological, social and political dimensions (ecosophy) of everyday spaces, strategies for conceptualising the resistance and the poetics of ideology. She works with performance, choreography, dance, installation, painting, sculpture, video and writing. Bajo lives and works in Los Angeles and Berlin and is co-founder of the CA D’CLUB (Divestment Club), an LA-based collective committed to activities aimed at eliminating fossil fuels and climate action.
