“I’ve always been interested in the boundaries between people, the gaze, the point of view … the way we look at a person, an object, etc. Almost all of my works create a somewhat unstable perspective, or a place where lots of perspectives can coexist simultaneously.
Working with these themes, I ended up focusing on cinema, precisely because cinema primarily deals with empathy, with putting yourself in someone else’s shoes. […] I was interested in transferring aspects of cinema, film structures, to daily life and to the exhibition space.”
